Associate Professor Melinda Carrington leads a team with significant clinical and research experience. Melinda, her team and her collaborators are committed to completing important project initiatives including ongoing efforts to establish cardio-metabolic health clinics in vulnerable communities (regional Victoria), support GPs to manage cardio-metabolic risk in primary care more optimally and improve the co-ordinated care of complex chronic cardiac disease.

Associate Professor Carrington also leads a team of Scientific Data Management staff which includes professionals trained in research design and methodology, data programmers, database architects, clinical trial specialists and experienced data technicians.
