Conducting translational research to improve musculoskeletal health

The Centre for Musculoskeletal Research, located at the ACU Clinical School in Brisbane, establishes a hub for musculoskeletal clinical translational research across the lifespan. The Centre aims to improve the quality of life of Australians suffering from musculoskeletal conditions. Research at the Centre focuses on several key areas including: low back pain, osteoarthritis, orthopaedics, injury prevention and management and women’s health.  To promote multidisciplinary clinical translational research, the Centre is associated with the Mater/ACU Back Stability Clinic, Mater Health Services and the Mater Medical Research Institute.
